I see there is an older (unsolved) thread about this. Does anyone know why certain senders only display the phone number instead of their name from my contacts list? The number displayed is exactly the same as their number in contacts.
Also, it doesn't matter whether the text is an initial send or if it's a reply from a message I sent to them. Either way the phone only displays their phone number, not their name and photo.
Again, only certain contacts. Like... my son but not my daughter. Both have the same looking profiles in my contacts. Her name and pic shows up when she texts me... his doesn't.
