Help messaging notifications

I have installed handcent, however i am still getting a notification on the messaging app...is there a way to turn it off or uninstall??

In the messaging APP, go into options and turn off notifications. I do not have your device, but they are all the same.

yup, disable the notification on ur default sms..

how do you get into the app settings...i have gone into the app and pressed the menu button, all that comes up is "delete several"...

Go into "All messages" >settings and it should be under 'received"

Open Messaging, Press Menu (bottom right hardware key with four squares) then select settings and scroll down to notifications and untick it.
