Help Messaging Problem

So Basically after updating my WF to 2.2 i decided to overhaul my phone (Giving it the new phone feel ive been pining for lol) So i downloaded Launcher pro. Which rocks! And Handsent sms. Which also kicks ass. No heres the problem. How do i stop the stock messenger from running? Because everytime i have a message my phone goes off twice (Annoying!) And the sms trys to load in both apps. Anything i can do? Or should i just delet handsent and stick to the stock messenger?

go into stock messenger and go to settings and turn off notification.

you may also want to untick every box as well.

Hi, I'm new at this, I have the same problem, started using Handsent sms and I still get notifications from original messanger, I tried to turn it off, but I don't really get how can I do it - i went to settings/app/manage app/messages but i don't have an option to turn the notifications off....how do I do it?
