Root Messaging

I was looking at my messaging settings at I saw no option for putting a signature. I have Velocity 1.1. I thought there was supposed to have an option for it? Is there any way to fix this so I have the signature option?

The stock Android texting app does not have signatures as far as I know. You can get a texting app from the market that has a signature option. I think Handcent (sp) has one but I don't use that, so I'm not 100% sure.

I knew that Handcent had a signature option but I thought I remembered seeing a signature option in the stock app

The stock messaging app had that feature, but if I recall correctly, didn't Trident include the CyanongenMod SMS app in 1.1?

Velocity uses Cyanogenmod's messaging app, which does not include the use of a signature.

If you want a sig that badly, try GO SMS Pro, it's what I use
