Root Messed up my phone...

/\ lol I wouldnt have guessed that you didnt take it out haha... oh well glad you got it going now.
 
hey, bionic im in the situation that you were in earlier, boots up through samsung vibrant screen then galaxy S screen, then black screen. it just freezes there but the capacitative buttons still work. How did you get into download mode. I have tried all the volume button combinations already. Help please. Thanks
 
Hold down all 3 buttons (power, vol up, vol down) until you get reset, past the vibrant screen.

Once it turns black, release ONLY the power button while still holding down the vol up and vol down buttons. Just keep the pressure on until you see the yellow android digging. It will say "downloading..." and be pretty obvious.

there is an easier method....
after the phone is powered down completely make sure your USB cable is plugged into your computer once you have done that hold vol up + vol down then plug in the usb cable.... works for me first time every time.
