messege alert issues

[doctorjeep59]

I have and Optimus V with GO SMS pro app installed. My phone will reveive texts from a friend with metro pcs service but the alerts will not sounds or show on the phone, but will work from phones with other services...is this an issue with a setting or an issues between VM and Metro PCS

If you remove Go SMS completely from your phone, does the issue persist?
