I'm an old school metal head, preferring thrash and Industrial metal over nu-metal.

I've seen Motorhead a few times. First time was in the 80s at Brixton Academy. I've done most of the Donington Monsters of Rock festivals since the 80s up to they became 'Download'. I've seen the vast majority of the big bands in concert either on their own or at Festivals like Sonisphere.

Big fan of original Metallica (Cliff Burton albums up to 'And Justice For all', after that I thought they sucked), Slayer up to 'Seasons in the Abyss', Pantera, Sepultura, Fear Factory, Anthrax, Kreator, Testament, Xentrix, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags and Iron Maiden and other NWOBHM bands.

Some of my favourite bands, like Fear Factory, branched out into Industrial metal and it took my music tastes on a whole new journey that encapsulated many more bands, but that is not a discussion for this thread.

"bump"

Wow, over a year since this thread was posted in? Where are the metal heads at?

Rings of Saturn- this drummer is amazing!

That's the first I've heard of Abnormality. I really liked it. That chick is brutal. I never would have known she was a woman if I hadn't seen her.
I think Spotify recommended it recently. I didn't realize the vocalist was female either until I looked up the video on YouTube to post here.

My three favorites when it comes to metal are: Metallica, Iron Maiden and Megadeth. And a little Godsmack and Pantera too.

This is one of my all-time favorites.

I have a female friend who is a singer in a death metal band and she sounds similar to her. I texted her to ask if she had heard Abnormality and she just happened to be at band practice. The drummer looked it up on YouTube on his phone and they were all checking it out lol. That song was cool, how about another? This video is pretty well done.

Abnormality-Fabrication of the Enemy

Abnormality is awesome. I just saw Intronaut, Deafheaven, and Between the Buried and Me. That was awesome
Lucky bastard... I've seen BTBAM twice and still haven't heard them play "Alaska," or "Mordecai." I saw Intronaut with Kylesa and Mastodon a few years ago and would to see them again (though, their latest record is my least favorite). I discovered Deafheaven last year and would love to see them.

Beyond Creation. These guys are crazy talented. Check out the six string fretless bass and eight string guitars.

Just got recommended this on Amazon. Only checked out out on YouTube once, but some of the songs are cool.

Origin: Omnipresent
