Metro disappear in 2013?

I think they would be in trouble if they waited a long time because remember metro haS shareholders they have to keep happy, so it can't be like so guys guess what we came to this decision like 3 months ago but we are merging with tmobile

There's probably a thousand reasons why now, and honestly how many people actually have any clue about the merger or will even care until things start changing?
The phone is still going to be a big hit for Metro I'm sure and lets be honest the sale of this phone mean nothing in comparison to the merger with T-Mobile.

They've laid out general guidelines, but what you have to remember is Metro's corporate leadership has essentially approved this deal the stockholders still have to vote to approve the merger. Then Metro and DT can really start to hammer out the nitty gritty and start to speak in more then just general outlines and ideas.

I didn't say to hide the decision from the board. I was merely saying to keep it an internal knowledge until afterwards.
They didn't need to have those PR statement on the websites, and then divert all questions customers who read the statements asked them!
Lots of (smart) companies do it that way. When the deal is a SURE thing, THAN you let your customers know. It removes confusion and keeps the company image stern should the deal go sour at the 11th hour (I'm looking at you, Sprint...)

Ah, but the public announcement of a merger raised their stock and probably hoping more people will buy Metro stock pre-merger to get in on a potential big player at a low price.

Yes- I want the S3 to be ay big hit for Metro so we can get all kinds of Hi Tech Phones and maybe even Tablets on the great Metro Plans-been waiting a long time for devices like the Motion and S3 on Metro.

Agree the timing is very strange for the Merger Announcement-could have been finalized AFTER the S3 and improved 4G lured more people and more top phones.

Maybe , just maybe ,we will get that even more quickly in 2013 because of the Merger.

I do think Metro kind of forced the Marketplace to have solid no contract Plans at lower rates.

I hope T Metro does the same thing and drives unlimited data prices downward.

I don't want phones/internet to be like Comcast and many Cable Companies with almost no competition.
