Metro Pcs flashed but issues.

Ok.. I sent the eris to get flashed over. Dude said he did but I am having issues... 1- can't call out or receive.
- Although I can text all I want. What am I missing or need to do? I rooted the phone before hand and when I check my software info it states this - firmware 2.1 , kernel version 2.6.29oc root@earth #25 , Build number Evil Eris v4.0

I was planning to get the internet up and running since I downloaded and have everything ready for the tutorial, but I do one process since the service is roaming... :-( .... if I cant fix this then I guess I will have to sell it to somebody.

Can you dial *22899?

I tried but it wont call out. It just says dialing and then goes back to the number dialing screen.
