Hello. My name is Skipp Washington and I need some advice. I had my EVO 4G rooted and flashed to be able to use Metro PCS service and it is working very well. However they had to revert back to android 2.1 to get it to work. There are some force close issues and a few features dont work. Since Metro PCS now has an android phone I need to know if it would be possible to update my phone to Froyo 2.2 so as to get all my features back working?? Was over at Xda Developers and although they are very smart there they are cold, they tend to treat non-brainiacs as if they have the plague. Thought forums were to help to further the knowledge and advancement of the electronic age. Hope thats the objective at this forum. Please help if you can. Thanks.

I dont know about the folks over at XDA being cold, I frequent both site often and i haven't run into that kind of attitude. Regardless, There is a thread specifically on MetroPCS ROMs. From what I remember there are 3 ROMs available, Froyo, CM6 and MIUI. I dont know a huge amount about MetroPCS, but that thread would be a good place to start reading up on it.
