Help Metro Pcs Visual Voicemail Service and LG Connect

I'm just wondering if there is anyone else out there that is having trouble with getting the visual voicemail service to work on their connect.

I had bought my connect over a month ago and hadn't ever gotten the service to work on it. Metropcs deemed it a handset issue and they gave me a warranty replacement. Well I got the replacement and the service will still not work on my phone... I have my doubts that it's a handset issue at all. They're telling me that there's nothing wrong on their end with my services or acct. I think they're f-ing idots.
 
Yeah I'm able to access the internet with no issues at all.

The phone has been manually programed several times now as well as my account services had been refreshed a few times on their end.

I also think this might be related the MyMetro app also errors out and says that they were unable to load my acct details please contact customer service...

have exactly the same problem, vistual voice mail cant be activated and mymetro app doesnt work..
ALSO when i call 611 from my phone or 1888 from any other phone the machine ask me to dial my cellphone number several times cause my account cant be found.. i do it many times till it gives me with representative.

they also told me its everything fine in their end, they also tried things and i also did hard reset on my phone....

the problem started since i called once *228 to update roaming list and after unsuccesful update all this strange synthoms started to happend.

2 month like this and nobody can give me an answer :mad:

That also happened to me when I dialed *228 to update the PRL and it failed a couple of times.

Now I just have one other problem that I need to get fixed... I was getting 4 to 6 mb/s data speeds on the 4g network, but now I'm only get barely 1mb /sec network speeds...

every once in a while the network status indicator in the status bar does some really crazy things. quickly appearing and disappearing, changing from EV to 4G...

Try updating the PRL after doing the rom update. If that doesn't help, the best thing you can do is what I've referred others to do, and that's log into your account on MetrPCS.com, and go into live chat (top right, when logged in.)
From there tell them that you need to reauthenticate to the servers through the MDN network. If they're stupid tell them t's the ##626* menu, that confirms your SID, MDN, and MIN. ( I think the third is min...haven't had a cdma phone in forever :p)
Anyways, yeah. That'll allow them to re-establish, and unlink your phones connection to the towers, and service for DNS authorization on the 4G, and SHOULD fix it, but you may have also lost power gain on the phone elsewhere. I've noticed that flashing a new rom at my desk dropped my speeds too, but when I'm away form my desk It gets better and better as I get closer to outside, indicating that something about xmit power HAS changed with the new rom (not sure why, but I know that's what it is.)

So yeah, see what you can get going on that, and remmber, if the speeds don't really change when he/she says they're done, tell them "brb, going to run outside, and test (simplest way is speedtest app.)
