I know how to access these but what cool stufff can I do? It looks dangerous...in fact I lost the ability to hear while on voice and it took me 15 min to get it back so I pushed my chair back and decided to consult with the experts. anyone care to I'm
part some knowledge on a padawan ?

I did manage to find my phones security code besides almost Effin up so I ain't buyin the nothing cool part but thank you for the warning. is there anyone else that cares to advance our knowledge on this matter?

That setting to modify the rx antenna settings coupled with the idea of plugging an extra ant. in one or both of those ant. ports under my battery has me hot and bothered dreaming of being featured on hackaday

oh and guess what? your usb has more than just internet, charging, and mass storage mode...there is CD ROM mode, a field to supply and mount an ISO...I was even informed that the cable that came with my esteem is not factory! pretty effin cool....

When you first plug your phone into the computer and that little box that pops up and says looking for drivers. That's caused by an ISO on your phone called autorun. But is that cool? Not really.

Test mode gives you the ability to really see of all this info and much more. Our "cool" standards are different i suppose.

Because being able to turn stuff off/on doesn't exactly tickle my fancy. :D BUT "It can propel you to superstar hacker pimp status". lmao Love it!!!

Your logic is sound. Let me rephrase..... what mundane things may I find here? ;)

Plus after being stuck in test mode and seeing that dreaded hidden lg menu over and over again, you begin to never want to look at it ever again. Haha

Yes i was thinking apps like dildroid, battery drainer, flashlight, etc were all programmed to access these menu settings to operate. I was wondering if its possible to change the FOTA CL tab found in OMA-DM menu so that i could effectively block OTA updates. When i try to enter that tab the whole service menu crashes. Other tidbits that caught my eye were bluetooth snoop (i know its probably not what it looks like) RX diversity and APNs....
Can i add additional APNs?
If so, would it do me any good?

dude ur barking up the wrong tree haha no offense to anyone but android forums is not the place for these things.... xda however is where u wana go they know more about network technicalities there than anyone else.

Already on that one as well. As most of you are probably aware a person can gain a doctorate's worth of knowledge with google alone, given sufficient time. Im actually more active here. Ive found that most people that actually can answer my questions and then some simply don't want to take the time to break it down for us that got in the game a little late. I sense a lot of indifference or downright intentional withholding of the newest premium information from XDA elite. Still contains a wealth of knowledge though

I uninstalled Oma-Dm all together.
