Root [MetroPCS] Call Echo

Is this a LG thing, Kit Kat, CM11, or Kernal? Is there any CM11 or KitKat ROM without the call echo?

You're most likely using a KitKat rom from here. I had the same problem. It's because the microphone was set to digital in the rom I got. Get a build.prop editor, find microphone, and change it from 'digital' to 'analog'. Works perfectly for me now.

Think all KitKat roms (for this phone) suffer from low call volume. So I patched in a 'Sitar' file and the call volume became as loud as the speakerphone. But now my callers were complaining about severly distracting echo. So I uninstalled the patch, and patched in a build.prop posted here. Everything seems to normal now.
