Root [MetroPCS] cant find a solution to downgrading to i (help)

here the log keep getting error.

you have to power off phone press volume down n plug in pc to get to download mode
then go ahead with kdz update
 
I have... It's not working.. I tried plenty of times. I remember the process by heart I done did it so many time.. I just want a easy root to make the notification bar transparent..
 
After a quick google search this seems like a common issue with windows. Here's the solution I found...

For 64bit based systems:

  1. Open command prompt and run it as administrator.
  2. Type in the following command then hit enter:
Code: 
C:\Windows\System32\ copy atio6axx.dll .dll
After doing this restart your PC.

Reference 2nd post in this link

Hopefully this gets you going. I don't use windows so I probably won't be able to help much more.

I have try so many differen Way yet the same issue. Have no luck. Man all i want its more memory, so i can play my games.
 
ive never had an issue and im a very dedicated tester

1st make sure you select settings pc connection usb connection type and select lg software plug it in and do not skip any prompts.you should find the setup option popup only for your phone,run it and let it finish installing drivers

then try the downgrade method.if you have the right kdz file and followed the downgrade guide minus the marwin thing cause its not needed with the file provided you should be fine.if it still doesnt work try the other things mentioned but this is a first ive heard with the phone not allowing this

I have a bit of experience rooting. This fone its justcweird man. Tryd the above method nothing yet. Same error. Its making me mad. Grrr
 
are you sure you installed the drivers for the phone to begin with and did you change the stock recovery or anything else to your phone yet?

if you changed the stock recovery using f6 utilities or whatnot its been said that it wont connect to the downgrader right.you need to make sure everythings stock
 
Fone stock just got it the same day i made this post. Still no luck
Am not the only ine with this issue hopefully someone will find a solutiin n help the rest of us. Im dieing here wit out a root fone lol i need root its my drug

Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe

set type to 3GQCT and phone to EMERGENCY. Select the kdz in the link below (or the tmobile one)
put phone into download mode by powering the phone completely off then hold the volume up button while plugging it into the pc via USB. the phone will automatically boot up into DL mode.

be sure you have installed the driver for the phone on the pc

just hit that launch button and wait till it says complete... should work first time

THIS KDZ IS FOR METROPCS ONLY!!!
 
I am still getting same error also. have done everything that is mentioned, i'm running Windows xp service pack 3, all updates for it, well up until Microsoft stopped supporting it a few weeks ago.

Im running the same xp. I think its xp not been able to work with this program. N i dont have another pc so i cant try it out which sucks.
 
do you guys have the drivers installed and the msxml.msi cause i've used windows vista windows 7 windows 8 and they all seem to work fine i don't use windows xp cause its no longer supported by microsoft
