Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] 4g/3g/1x/ and no service

Been having a lot of drops in brandon,fl as well. Mf2 seems to be less problematic,mb2 hates me. At first I thought it was due to 4.2 based roms, going back to metropolis and#2 helped a lot, but still seeing 3g a little too often.
 
Nope metropolis was no hope... Plus I love my aosp ROMs. I keep wanting to blame my ROM or baseband but nothing seems to work-- in my house. Its like my house has some data jammer lol jk. I went to the metro store (used to work at corporate) because I had enough of this and my family too, they have purely stock with everything updated even Prl and they experience the same signal drops; well anyways when I asked why my phones signal is ****** the guy was like "well you see the problem is your phone; is old would you like to see some phones post t mobile merger?" I think I might just switch to boost or idk something prepaid that's not having their customers pulling out their hair from the frustration of having perfect 4g data working one second and as soon as you blink its gone and then after you exhale in anger its back for a few mins but then you take the wrong step trying to get comfortable in one position scared if you move too much its going to be gone.. Should of shifted to the right.... Awhhhhhh the struggle I'm gonna go insane... As you can tell by my rant lmao sorry just very irritated I wish metro can go back to umh Aug 15th when I could be in my room and I had the best signal with blazing speeds..

shiit i have some issues sometimes to in certain places but its ever since i had prl 2035 with 2034 i had no problems
 
I have been with metro pcs for about 6months. I have actually been pleased with their 4g service. It has been better than my girlfriends 4g and data. I have used stock roms, debloated roms, and custom roms no problems with 4g data...(except for a few roms with bugs) but lately out of the blue, my 4g just stopped working. only 3g at the best. I know for a fact it is not the ROM or the phone. Im almost positive it is this merger. I have tried basically every trouble shooting tip I could..... From flashing back to stock and checking network with a complete stock unrooted ICS to the updated 4.1.2 JB (completely stock and completely unrooted) and I still only get 3g. I rooted and tried 3 different ROMS and still 3g at best.... I tried Metropcs customer service and they had no idea after we tried some manual and automatic updates on their end... no luck. so the Metro customer service told me to check out a corporate store. The girl at corp store said it was because of the tmobile merger and they were working on some towers and should be back to normal soon enough...
a little heads up and an ETA would have been nice, but she said they didnt have that, not even the employees know... I asked if there was a map to show which towers were being worked on, she said they didnt have that... however I could go onto metropcs data coverage website and check that way, but it says I have 4g in my area (sacramento, ca)
