So! I'm currently on Carbon, and i love it..but i'd really like to try something else ...i know each Rom is unique and i thank all the Devs for their hard work..but which one is the stands out from the rest? Something that will make me go whoa! :ahhhhh:
 
yea metropolis and morph mod is the only rom ive been using since 4.1.2 was released by metro i haven't had any desires to try anything else like i told shabby all we needed was a stock touchwiz rom with the customization of an aosp rom. and those two things = just that. anyways also metropolis rom is the only stock rom from metro with multiview for now :D
 
I've been on the Pacman Rom and i love it. I keep hearing good things about metropolis though. Can someone explain why going back to a stock rom is better?

How are the speeds & smoothness of it? Not really into the multi-window thing. ldrifta had a nice touch on stock with the aroma set up. Also remember reading that the multi-window was causing problems. Would it be a good one to try out?
 
smoothness isnt something i go back and fourth trying out on each rom lol just be realistic but in terms of asking is there any lagging no not that ive seen on my phone. speeds are responsive i cant seem to find my stop watch anywhere around here to see how many nano -seconds it take for it to make it to my app drawer but im sure its pretty fast considering the extra tweaks shabby has been pumping into the build.prop ;) keep in mind 80% of you guys are just looking for eye candy and if so then metropolis by itself isn't gonna satisfy that you will need to also use the morph mod posted by nuttmeg which takes everything stock and customize evetything like it would look like on a aosp rom... well just about everything. once you do that you will have the best of both worlds.
 
I've tried damn near every rom for the metro pcs variation of the s3, even the ports. Im am a gadget geek, I have to have everything working. With the Cm base roms I found that apollo is crap compared to samsung's stock music player for touch wiz, just to name one issue. But for me its between Goodness and Metropolis.

If the Damn S4 rom didnt have its little bug it would be my daily driver.
 
I went from: Stock -> Metropolis -> PACman -> Metropolis -> BakedBean 7

I'm loving BB7 .. PACman was wicked awesome .. but BB7 ... Mmmmmm ..
