Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] am i trippin?

Or is there a pretty low amount of development for our phone? If I am let me know what I can do to help. 3 ROMs and no themes or kernels seems kinda light for the hottest phone on the market especially considering what the s3 offers on other carriers. Not a complaint by any means, just curious if there's a reason. Thnx
 
I think you trippin we have 3 roms and the phone has been out what a month not only that we have a great community here that is only getting better as far as themes there are plenty under cm10 themes so like I said i think you trippin

all of these devices have been out longer than the metropcs sgs3, yet only the repp has a rom. the rest have root and/or cwm thanks to the team im on, but no roms. this is going to be teh most developed device for metropcs due to the closeness of the other models. when i get mine i plan on doing a custom kernel.

My philosphy on it all is if your not happy with the situation, then do something about it. if you want a rom? learn how to. there are plenty of guides and people willing to help. ask chiwen, i walked him through step by step giving him exactly what he needed to compile aokp. kernels are a bit harder, but not impossible. in the end the experience you have with your phone can only be altered by you :)
 
Your right about the phone only being out a month but 3 ROMs that I've had on my n7 for months isn't a lot, and most of the cm themes are paid of which I am tired of paying for to be disapointed. Love and appreciate all the help from this forum. Once again not a complaint just curious. Hands down the best device (phone) I've ever had. Thnx again!!!!

If you want to theme it yourself, I would suggest loading Baked Beans ROM. With it your can customize just about everything except the dialer.

Or aokp? Lol sorry shabs, I gotta put that out there, apparently people think only bb has a crap load of features, apparently aokp is stock :p

I'm sorry if I sounded unhappy I was trying to convey clearly that I wasn't complaining just merely curious and concerned that the metro release wouldn't get the attention of the others. I would be very interested in learning though if you have time and patients to help me. Could I pm you sometime tomorrow? You're right. Its high time I contribute to the community. Any help or direction would be much appreciated

@OP, any good theme on the market should have a free version so you get a taste of what the paid version is like. Best by far of all the themers for the theme chooser are by djDarkknight, and there are many other good ones. And good themers have plenty of screenshots too.

The S3 has one of the best out of the box ROMs out, then you toss in 3 of the most populars custom ROMs available.... what else do ya need?? ;)

well someone could do Paranoid for I guess. :p
