Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] best method for changing pixel density?

These apps will do it ,ROM toolbox,root explorer. Its in "ro.sf.lcd_density" in the build.prop the value is set to 320 stay between 320 and 380 save and reboot. Do This At Your own risk

I wouldn't really say there is a "best" way as any way to do it, all has the same end result. Your just changing a number. You can use a build.prop editor and just change the number yourself. Or use Rom Toolbox and do it through there.

Yeah you can lower it. I usually have my s3 between 240-280. Sometimes it messes up your play store though and makes some apps incompatible.

I boosted mine to 380 .. TouchWiz stopped working lol

Put it back to 320 .. I'm never touching it again.

ROM ToolBox Pro suggested no more than 360 .. Heed that warning lol

i cant find anything on rom toolbox pro? i know it used to be there idk where anymore. i tried using lcd density pro which i bought a while ago and the phone stopped going past boot screen. had to go through twrp to restore it.

I've seen modified touchwiz apps that work with other dpi on xda. SecPhone is one of them. I'm assuming you're using a touchwiz rom.

I havent tried as I have no need for density changes. Yes I believe you would need to be on a tw deodexed rom. We have a few great stock based, deodexed roms to choose from.

on my phone using my TB?
I have no use for it (I don't think) as I am using a different ROM and GoLauncher.

guys can somebody make an odexed version of those apps? if not can somebody point me in the right direction for doing so, what do i need t change n the zip? where should i look for the files in an odexed rom?
im on stock mb2 4.1.2
