Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Help! GF just got a New S3 and having problems

Hi, My GF got a S3 from Metro PCS and she can't call out or receive calls and can't get a hold of anyone at Metro PCS to help her. Does anyone know someone she can contact? or a number she can call? She just got the phone.

That's strange try this number helps alot 800-901-6266 you can also active it on you're own by dialing 611 i believe..

Dial *490 will get you direct to a customer service rep have them refresh the line also that helps a lot of people that have those issues

*490 on stock ics with metro bloat ware opens a app forgot which app you gotta disable first. metro connect i think dunno.

I don't see the reason not too. For roms there are obvious reasons to stay stock but to me, root always is a must, just like custom recovery

Root is very easy to put on and even easier to uninstall. A lot of people don't realize that root just a apk installed on your system. It does need to be installed through scripts but uninstalling it is so simple.

yeah I know rooted ever android I've ever had and my family's. I don't know it just seems so good the way it is but ill probably do it maybe Sunday
