Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Install Manager not recognizing root access. Help

I rooted the phone properly and it all went successfully but for some reason when trying to install an app through Install Manager it tells me it cannot find root access. And Even when i go to Install Manager itself to try and move an app to sd it says "Moving" then "Done" but it didnt move anything. What gives?

Open your superuser manager (superuser or superSU) and make sure your SU binary is up to date, and that install manager is not being denied superuser access.

Maybe the app developer did something wrong in the code?
I'm not familiar with Install Manager, so I don't know it's kinks...

Do other root-requiring apps work fine? if so, than it most likely is the dev doing something silly without realizing it - like prompting for an interactive shell and using an alternate shell to execute commands :D
Using multiple threads and not ensure all commands are processed through the interactive shell granted superuser privileges...
Or some other such silliness...
