Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Its time..

over here is the new chill spot huh? ....i'm not going to root mine tho..i'm cool with it :D been on it for the whole day :)

yea..no tar for metro/uscc :/ as of right now the only chances i have are

a: flash a rom from another carrier (apparently the vzw ones work for uscc? still bad odds though.

or b (the best option): getting a kind soul on here to make a backup for me to flash. im really praying for option b. lol

DO NOT flash a ROM from another carrier.

At this point only do something that's a FOR SURE fix. You dont want to hard brick it.

Lets try to get someone to post up a recovery for you. ;)
 
yeah..but im feeling so desperate lol. this sucks a lot. BTW...metros version is SCH-R530M..maybe the M is important? dunno.

Don't be desperate. Be patient. This sucks I know. I think everyone has been there at least once.

Give me a few. Gonna do some more digging. Everyone and their mother just flooded my inbox with every problem under the moon so Im trying to sort them all out.

Oh yeah. Gets better..I left it plugged in charging off the computer...and my message alert sounded off. Just shook my head and went downstairs to my tablet lol
 
I will say Ill be really glad if we get a fix so anyone else that hits a wall like me should have less worries.
 
just ran the toolkit and selected all in one. now its not working. talking to fuzzy, really need a backup from someone lol.
 
Phone boots up but its a blank screen. power button brings up menu options. Phone is seen in android commander. Tried pushing Holo Launcher thinking the launcher is gone and nothing. Just a black screen but the phone is booted up. Wth
 
I. android commander Is reading it just pull out the framework then push it back in and android commander has an option to reboot phone try that. I think it would work.

Certain files within the framework cant be pushed, they have to be flashed. Been there and tried that one. Plus it would take light years for it to finish being that AC is not too quick. lol

Not the whole framework all he needs to do is open up framework click on framework.res.apk and pull it to desktop after that he just have to drag it back to framework res.apk thats it then reboot, i've been doing that with no problems even with soft bricks:-)
