Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Liquidsmooth rom for d2mtr

I downloaded the latest gapps and I'm running 4.2.2 not 4.3...if there's another gapps DL for 4.3 would you mind posting a link for it? It would be greatly appreciated...

I'm using MX Player and I haven't had a problem with it...

For some reason if you choose to download latest gapps from goo at ROM download page it'll download 4.2.2 gapps...I remember I was about to until I saw the date on the gapps 20130301...that's 4.2.2...4.3 is 20130813 for future reference...

Goo has been weird lately. It's got the current CM and Carbon nightlies, but not the current Liquid, and Jelly Bam never worked
 
2.10 seems pretty stable, with one exception. I'm having that typical 4.3 wifi/4g switch issue. Other times a reboot would fix it, but that's not working with Liquid:(

Trying wiping both caches . while u have have both options toggled on. Did the trick for me
 
So this gapps-20130813 will give me android 4.3 and work with the liquid smooth ROM? Just don't want to mess anything up.
 
OK so I flashed from liquid smooth v2.9 to v2.10 and then flashed the 4.3 gapps. It works great, I'm running 4.3, but there is one problem. If I shut the phone off & try to turn it back on it gets stuck in a boot loop. The only way I've been able to reboot the phone is by re flashing the ROM & the gapps. Any idea what I did wrong? Also I was watching a vid on youtube on a S3 running this ROM and they were able to over clock all the way to 1.9Ghz. I know it was a AT&T phone. That was the only thing different than mine. I can't over clock mine, even when it was v2.9 running 4.2.2 (which is what the phone in the video was running)...Anyways any help with any of this is greatly appreciated as always...Jeremy
 
The last time I flashed the ROM I did a factory reset, flashed the ROM & gapps, then wiped the cache & dalvik cache, & finally fix the permissions. Its working great, but I haven't tried rebooting the phone yet. Its very time consuming when I have to do all that over again, then download jrummys ROM toolbox & install all my apps again. I'll try rebooting when I get home from work. Im not 100% sure, but I believe I've flashed the ROM the same way before but I could be mistaken. As soon as I reboot I'll post if this solved the problem or not. Thanks for the help so far everyone....Jeremy

You won't lose any apps or data wiping the caches or fixing permissions.

Its usually the first thing you should try when things get wonky
 
Wiping the cache and fixing the permissions was the 1st things I tried, but when I turned the phone back on is stayed on the boot animation for 5-10mins. So this time I flashed back to stock. Then I did a factory reset/data wipe, flashed the v2.10 rom, then the 4.3 gapps, & then wiped the cache & dalvik cache then rebooted. The phone is working fine, I don't see much difference between 4.2.2 & 4.3 but I haven't had any problems. Now I am kinda scared to try & reboot the phone. I have a lot of apps and its a real pain to have to go into ROM toolbox and re install all of them lol...but I'm gonna have to do it eventually so I might as well get it over with. I'll let you know what happens....to be continued
