Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] metro unroot for return?

since my 4g isnt working and i already have burn ins, i say **** metro. so i'll return the phone for another one that hopefully won't feel refurbished, and it's been 5 days so it's all good, they said i can return it in a period of 7 days.
will they look if its rooted? (i can uninstall superuser for some reason, if that's all they look at) i already installed most of the apps that came with the phone, except metroweb... i tried and i couldnt lol, i did the system/app thing but no luck.

if so, how the hell do i unroot my galaxy? ive looked around the web including youtube and they're all for other companies and the first thing everyone says is "don't use this for another carrier!!!"

I've never had to unroot but I think there's an option to unroot in the root script no? If not you can just delete superuser and factory reset. I think that should do it.

Edit: also you may need to restore stock recovery if you've flashed a custom one. Found here...

they will perform a factory reset and it will boot into cwm recovery, than they will know you rooted your device but the choice is yours.
