Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [MOD] YouTube 4.4.11 (v5b), *1080p* / 720p HD (over WiFi & 3G), screen off playback

So...correct me if I'm wrong but does this mean that when a video is playing in hq mode on the normal YouTube app it's not actually hd?...
 
Been using this for just over two weeks. I love it .. Except for the "subscribe" and thumbs up and down buttons are invisible lol

Yeah the suscribe is hard to read but the plus sign is there and once you tap it suscribe turns green.

The thumbs up and down is white and visible for me, are you using the latest?
 
I just read it has screen off playback thats exactly what i wanted i even discussed this with shabby. i mean think about it your listening to a song u love and u dont wanna have screen on while u have phone in ur pocket. great stuff! i might un-pack this and look at changes to implement it to any updates we might have in the future.
 
Tried this on my sprint s3, followed directions to a t, still not getting play back with screen off.

Meh, I'll give it a re go tonight :p

Just incase go to advanced settings then make sure u check the screen off option. then select restart youtube and it should work. worked for me flawlessly :D

lol just incase for the peeps that are new to switching apks in system/app this is what ya should do.

rename stock one to YouTube.bak

then stick new one and rename to YouTube.apk
