Full Boot Animation Support![/HIGH]so it has a modified kernel, a toggle mod (for teh notifications), has power off, reboot etc in the power menu. im not sure i understand what the no ongoing wifi thing is tho. the biggest feature he offers is an aroma based install, which i can tell ya isnt a small task. its easy just very very very time consuming, my hats off to anyone that does it.

other than that its pretty much the exact stock rom you already have. i picked his rom due to the request to port it, it just happens his rom is based on making a very close to stock rom with added features so he isnt trying to overdo it with crap that many do. some of the crazier ones will have hideous themes and 17 bulletpoints to explain 3 features.

my point is those are all teh mods done to stock rom. im sure any person here could name a crapload of features of a AOSP based rom as they are fairly standard across the board.

o i see wat u mean there its kinda like wat PG told me long ago;) hey if u had a gs3 would u flash a aosp rom or would i stay with a stock jelly bean rom i know its personal perferance but i just wanna know wat some one with high ranking in phone knownledge would do u know

while i thank you for your generousity, ive gone over the numbers a few times. im tethering while using a verizon prl to get kicked off sprint without paying an ETF. then im gunna be able to sell my phone and buy two lg motions, ill then begin on working my wife off sprint and get her onto a motion.

from there ill be saving around 100 bucks a month on my bill, and i can sell her epic 4g touch for around 180ish assuming i can manage to save 50 every month it shouldnt be too long before i can upgrade off the motion. my point is its not like im gunan be able to go out tomorrow and pick up a sgs3 and knock out a kernel and rom for you guys. its gunna be a while before i can think of getting it :P

sgs3? id be on aosp asap :P

there is no real amazing features of teh sgs3 that cant be found on apps or not needed. for instance i have google now, ive used iot maybe 5 times, nfc? once at a cvs cuz i got 10 bucks from google. i dont know anyone else with a sgs3 so i couldnt use sbeam. knowing i wa son teh latest code possible with all teh buttery goodness...

now if i ha dteh note 2 id stay on a custom stock rom. that has so many cool features exclusive to touchwiz it makes sense

yes http://mashable.com/2012/06/29/jelly-bean-android-beam/ which means if i had 2 nfc enabled jellybean devioces i could transfer stuff. sbeam only works on sgs3's where as android beam works on all jellybean nfc'd phones

maybe if im real nice n4zty will invite me over for the superbowl and i can play on his phone then :P

eh havn't been to a game in ages lol but who knows lol? also what are our options for custom kernels? i looked at some top kernels like franco kernel the bullet kernel and another chiwen told me about. most of them on the xda forums are ready for the gs3 just gotta be custom fitted :D

yea, i tried making a custom kernel for you guys back when cm10 was still being worked on i had 1.8ghz just wasnt clocking correctly.

i have no idea, youd have to ask someone with the phone that installed them.

yes sbeam uses wifi direct to conenct and transfer stuff quickly. android beam uses bluetooth so it is slower. the confusion i faced before was cuz i though wifi direct was in aosp

well i thought so too but it only shows up on touchwiz stock not on any aosp nd is it tht slow even with the s3s lateist blluetooth?
 
yea wifi direct is touchwiz only, android beam is for aosp. as far as speeds go i cnat comment, i dont have a phone to test it with. i have the gnexus and wife ha steh epic 4g touch which doesnt have nfc.

Finally got my S3 ordered this phone since11/23/12 wirefly didn't have it in stock had to wait for ever glad I got it right before i leave on my vacation tomorrow..(in the voice a Bane. Let the Games begin :D no rooting or anything for a week or two maybe ...
 
hey guys haha sorry i kinda dissapeared for a while.. seems like there some pretty cool things happenning over here.. i got some things i need to patch up on esteem and connect.. try to give the lucid guys 'something' just because my brother has one and wants me to make him a rom lolol... but i AM going to do something over hear for all yu guys! :D just need a little time (again) lol
