Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][4.2.2] Illusion v2.1 - 7|16|13

Well I installed this rom and I like it so far but question when I flashed it it said that it a flashed kernel so my question is if I want to go back to another rom will it be an issue ?

im also running the slim gapps. I was thinking about trying a diff kernel but idk which to use. And besides the heating up everything is perfect .

Shouldn't be an issue. Each ROM you flash has its own kernel that comes included. Restore a backup and it will restore the kernel you had along with it.
 
Thanks armando, been using AOKP 4.2.2 since it came out but this is way better:D good job bro!

Another question on the third screenshot it has some apps on right side like shortcuts what is it? Is it like apps in a folder? Been trying to get it but had no luck.
 
So...everything's been great ...except that my internal storage decided to erase itself :(... and that some apps weren't restored properly... The ROM itself is very smooth... It freezes sometimes when opening an app though... That might just be halo acting up though...

use google now , and say "call ____" and it will call them , hang up and hold home button to see recent apps and just open it up or choose it to see what its called. on my phone the app is just called "phone"

Its was the gapps I flashed.... No problems now... Every thing running good now

Try reinstalling/downloading? I just called from my dialer with no problems.

I had a problem with it freezing up. Disable hw overlay or install latest lean kernel.

This was also a problem in the latest cm nightly for me so i don't think its halo. I installed lean kernel and it fixed both times.
 
I'm using pretty much the same setup I had on deviant. Entropy mod with frandom/bms kernel. Running great. BUT, that's how my baby likes it. Yours will most likely be different
 
So I'm loving this ROM but I tried to restore my data (coming from carbonrom) through twrp and got a whole bunch or android process errors. And had to ultimately reflash rom
 
I love this Rom everything perfect smooth and awesome since I flashed it in this morning I haven't any problem the all day. THANKS DEVES FOR THE HARD WORK.

Just have to say this is the best non-TW ROM I have uses thus far and I have been though a lot. Thanks for the hard work to make this avalible. Love the dark ui and inverted gapps. Level of customization is awesome. It may be just fluke but my 4g speeds are up, lucky to get 3-4 down. But again thanks.
