I have an idea.. everyone who is having the issue do me a favor...

list all the folders found in your internal and external sd's that you didn't put in there yourself!! :D

see if anything else is causing problems..

but it don't make sense lol

Lol well bad news loaded up the rom again it boot fine it was good for about 15 minutes than the damn white screen shows up again :banghead: so I had to restore wish I knew what's going on but as you can see I'm not the only one.

About the folder haven't noticed really but I will look and see if I have any new folders showing up

wow.. haha this is blowing my mind.. why are so many people having issues?? :/

looks like im going to have to go speak with the upper management about this issue :( sorry guys.. rom is on hold I guess until this is resolved!!

Yeah men it's weird it ran fine for the first maybe 20 minutes I thought it was good and then the reboot to the white screen came up :( and that doesn't go away I literally have to pull battery

Edit wanted to add I'm in the rom caused I flash over the previous version which actually works fine.

battery life isn't that great though.
 
ok so.. I figured it out!! truly this time lol so ill explain what MY fault was..

when I applied the multi-window mod, for safe measures I copied the permissions portion of metropolis updater-script to make sure everything went smoothly..

what I DIDN'T notice, was that shabby does not have apps in the "data" folder.. so he did NOT have the required permissions for my "data/apps" to install properly.. so that's why it was 90% of the time a market/app update related crash..

and also explains why it worked by dirty flashing over the previous version lol..

so as most of you know im patching things up right now and re-uploading the rom with some different points of view.. like for starters.. multi-window will be excluded from the rom to keep it as pure stock and issue free as possible..

BUT I WILL upload a multi-window flasher/MOD that will put it on the rom for you :D

so none of you will be left empty handed ;)

No issues to report so far. Install went well and booted with no issues first time.

Edit...I have yet to installl any of the addons.
 
Ran into an issue with the Multi mod. The first time I tried flashing it was after already flashing the rom and setting it up as I like. It got as far as the "android is upgrading..." and it bootlooped after that.

So I factory reset and flashed the rom and mod one after the other and it booted. I started setting up and downloading apps as normal. When I went to lock the phone with the side button it soft booted, looped the bootani and kept looping after a restart.

Incidentally, I noticed that there are apks in the Multiwindow mod that have seemingly nothing to do with the mod. Like Polaris viewer for instance. It don't bother me tho :)
 
So far everything feels good got the rom running with the kernel shabby posted and it's fine silk smooth so far that kernel makes a difference everything loads nice and smooth thanks a lot big l for your hard work :thumbup:

Happy to report everythibg is working great no more bootloops and multiwindow working great. But what kernel was mike talking about?
 
I agree after flashing everything runs smoothly great job big L and shabby and thanks again mike for the link.
