Unfortunately that did not work. I flashed lk_s3vzw_aosp_43-v6.5.zip and still got message could not be sent when I inserted a picture. Text messages go through with no problems.

Not to get off subject but from what I read we wont be able to use t-mobile's towers unless we purchase new metro phones specifically set up to roam on their network.

No. Cdma will be in service for another 2 years. T-Mobile doesn't have LTE so they will be using Metro while expanding their own LTE. This is already happening in Las Vegas I believe. For more information, head to the metro forum here. These topics have been discussed for many months and there are releases from both companies that detail what is happening and going to happen.
