Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 11 Nightly Builds for d2mtr

So I'm using this rom and im trying to go for a dark theme, anyway to change stock mms to dark theme?

Any and all suggestions appreciated

pull mms.apk from black bean and place it in /system/app/ and set permissions to -rw-r-r- and reboot the phone.

Thanks man got it all up and running,

Separate issue here. For some reason when I send pics the quality gets distorted. Is this rom related?

yes thats because cm is convinced metropcs can only handle images that are 640x480 so anything larger gets compressed to that
 
Also is there not a Github for this particular build in which someone could fork? I know that CM is linked in the the OP but how about a complete build under version control?

well I know for sure i get the same speed results on both this and stock, however on this rom it takes longer to recover

for example when im underground and return above ground it takes longer than usual to recover 4G
 
Sorry if it's a stupid question but what's that "M Snapshot" mean? I flashed it last night, when I checked for an update through my phone (I didn't wipe cache or dalvik) and everything is working properly, but I don't see any difference from the previous version.

If I remember correctly, it's almost like a stable version. Doubt you will notice any difference because the nightlies were pretty stable.

If you updated through the cm's updater, it does all the necessary wiping for you.

It is a more stable build designation. Still not an official release. Think of it as a monthly nightly!.. that's what I've read from xda

I'm running CM10.2 M2 on my Samsung GS3 for Metro PCS but I can't get the built in tether or wifi tether (nothing recognizes my phone as hotspot on wifi tether) to work. I can connect to the built in tether but I can't browse the web. Any help would be appreciated.

You might have to install a user agent switcher on your laptop or computer.
