Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Speaker Volume Really Low

Hi, Has anyone figured out how to increase the speaker volume? or is it just me that it's really low?

I'm on the stock ROM

There are some apps that claim to increase volume levels. Volume plus is supposed to be a good one. I think the developer for that one even let's you download it free on his site.

The speaker volume on this phone does suck...even lower than the Esteem's...but I'm pretty sure I saw a big thread about this and ways to solve it (root and non-root solutions) on some forum. Can't remember if it was on this site or another one.

If your S3 is already rooted, do a search web search for s3 default_gain.conf

You will find several modified versions of this file which will make the volume much louder

I got it Thanks. I downloaded Volume+ and it worked plus I like how I can only adjust the speaker volume since the ear speaker was just fine. At least is wasn't like the EVO where it was so loud from Factory it blew speakers. lol

im assuming you dont use headphones and instead like to play music through the built in speakers? beacause omg using the gs3 headphones and turning up the volume dang thing rattles my eardrums and oh the bass is pretty good for small headphones.
