Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Stuck at metro screen after acid flash

Cant figure what Im doing wrong. Not the title is misleading as Im not stuck (always do a back up young people) but I keep getting stuck at the metro boot screen after trying to flash acid audio engine . Im following the directions (flash/wipe dalvick cache/reboot) The first time I fixed permissions and it did the same thing. Im on stock and using twrp

EDIT 2- Just remembered this phone has like 4 carriers, prolly dl one for another carrier
 
welcome to our forum :) please dont take this the wrong way but i dont recall seeing that rom in this subforum and if so why not try asking where u found it. also if u got it from xda or someother forum and it wasnt for metro pcs your taking a huge risk. in a nutshell we can only give support to whats already being supported yes we do have several ported roms from sprint and usc but those are maintained by users that have sucessfully flashed the rom onto their device by changing a few files on their phone.
 
I actually figured it out and as far as where I posted it I just got this phone I'm having to get used to not discussing issues with strictly metro users which is what I'm used to with my esteem and Optimus M.. Old habits bro lol

Acid is an audio mod. I've seen it built into a few roms. I always deleted it.

Why not share what you did so others may benefit.
 
Ah my bad for thinking it was a rom lol makes me wanna check it out. And is this different from the beats by dr dre mod?

Just didn't follow the instructions. Most roms/mods say wipe cache then flash but this one was saying flash then wipe and kept having me stuck in bootloop so I just did it the way I know and it worked.

Has there been any battery issues with this and did you notice any real difference? I curious about this mod
 
No battery issues. In fact today's the 1st day on my hyperion 4200 and ive only lost 17% since 10 am. I haven't really checked it out yet. My soul headphones came in the mail today so when I get home I'll check it out and report back.

It's got a little bit of everything. Beats, sony, dolby, dsp, etc...
I never mess with things, the normal audio output with the earphones that came with our phones sounds pretty good to me. Lol

I agree. I stay away from acid and beats and the like. Cramming a bunch of different dsp algorithms together doesn't make anything sound better. In any case, most of these don't work properly or at all, with our default Music Player. You'll have to install another player (like Google Music) for any of them. That said, if using another music player is your thing; I trust DSP from CM over the others. Most of them are based off of DSP anyway...
 
I think itsa mind thing. I wanna believe it sounds better and that I notice something different but your right most times you don't.
