There is a sticky. In that thread is a link to the thread that tells you how to return to stock.

I wonder what app that would require seperate drivers??

Anyway have you tried booting into recovery to do a factory reset or restoring a backup if you have one?

I did everything it said. now when i Select "Restore" and have "external SD selected" The "metro stock s3" folder doesn't appear. what should i do?

this happend to me not long ago.. i downloaded and TRY'ED to install "Beats Audio. Installer" and it rebooted and it got stuck on the Metro Bootlogo.. so it got bricked. so i try to un brick it after 1 day of trying.. i just went to CORP. Store and they exchanged it to me for a New One. just like that.. they said " These phones are not perfect" and bamn a brand spacking new.. SO SCREW beats audio installer not worth it.. its just a placebo

I use poweramp and also volume + from the market and never look back at beats, i had semi bricked my esteem back in my esteem days.

I fell into the beats audio boat too, I couldn't wait to use my headphones. Then BAM Boot-loop. I used Odin and Cwm for Rooting how ever the instructions to root were way more clear than they are to repair this. I've download several files claiming to be the fix. Nothing has worked as of yet. Can anyone out here clarify the instructions. When I rooted I used the PDA spot in Odin. When Restoring do I use the Bootloader spot? One day I wont be such a rookie..

If you made a backup (which you should have) and can boot into recovery then you won't need odin.

To boot into recovery, take out the battery, put back in and hold down the home, volume up and power key. choose restore from recovery.

If you didn't make a backup you can download a stock backup provided in nuttmeg's thread. Or just download one of the custom roms and install those to get your phone up and running again.

By far the best method! Worked like a charm for me, They even asked me if I rooted the phone I said yes, they said heres a new phone...(of course they said do not do that again but hey, I ain't neva scared..)

No I failed to make a backup the rookie I am. I'm not seeing Nuttmeg's thread (Stickied)? I downloaded several stock backups but I haven't found clear instruction on how to get them on the phone. It would boot into recovery but there was no way to put the recovery file onto my phone from the pc. Still pursuing because I'm sure some other rookie will be here soon.

you can use adb to push the backup. or if you have an sdcard and an adapter....

its always good to see the community come together and help fix someone's phone so they dont have to just clear out of the blue and randomly pm someone. cuz man oh man do i hate getting random PM's. like it is the very BANE of my existence.*

*I'm kidding, i wanted to make this post cuz he pm'd me on xda :P

Take out your sdcard, put it in another device (different phone or even a camera) if you don't have an adapter, load the files needed on it and put it back on your phone.
Voila

After scrolling through so much text my eyes were bleeding, I couldn't come up with such a common sense fix.:o
