Metropcs getting tethering hotspot plans

i was surfing the web and i got this i think we are getting tethering plans soon???

Snip Tool is awesome right?! :D

Wonder how much extra they'd charge for this? I can count on one hand how many times in a year I've used tethering, and only for emergency purposes so I most likely wouldn't invest in such a plan.
 
I would just for the simple fact that we can use my kids kindle on the road for games and maybe watch a movie
 
to the OP if you want to get rid of that "error" go to your tethering app and go to the settings, then go to change LAN, then change it to 172.20.23.0/24(one that I have had best luck with) or others. Hope this helps.
 
Going back to the topic ! I hope $60 plan costumers are already eligible on it, you know about this.?

Went to the :confused:corporate store:eek: and this is what they said:
uhh there is no tether plans in the works...we don't have the signals for that..

Showed him on my Esteem this OP and saying he was:confused: confused:confused: would be an understatement. They are just employees afterall;)

How did you come land on that page califathug13?

OFF TOPIC:
Went thinking I had cracked my screen dropped out of my pocket 5 in to cement. It actually just slid the screen protector out of place(WHEW):D:cool: Trust me it looked chipped and spider ed in two spots.

I let him earn his pay and put a new screen protector on...he starts playing with my baby(sliding through screens,opening apps,ect)and comments on how fast it is and says "is this a Revolution" HAHAH

I just told him he is lucky I don't call the cops on him for violating my phone and left:)

And this is why you setup a security lock on the phone. Keeps people from snooping through it.

This would be worth it for me because:

  • I currently have a poor WiFi connection and have to go to Starbucks for banking and playing MMORPG.
  • I have a Sony DASH internet appliance and alarm clock that streams Pandora and Shoutcast
  • I also have a Color Nook which I could use with my METRO Tether.
  • I do NOT want to root my phone.
I went to my METRO store today and they denied knowledge of a plan that would add 20 or 30 dollars to my 60 dollar plan.


Any news would be appreciated.

I don't think it will come until the current 4g updating is done...so nothing before this fall.
 
Found this while looking around. MetroPCS may know that some of you are using the Hotspot feature and are planning accordingly.

lol. They are going to be sending out a lot of letters...
And if they find this thread then they can also find the thread where they have terrible customer service, haven't followed through on their rebates that many including myself haven't seen till this day, have a phone that is still having problems with rebooting, etc...
If anything they should be paying some of the people on here for helping out the people that they have refused to help....
