Okay so my mom bought me the Ascend last Thursday for my birthday. She tells me that when she went to buy it, they told her to come back in 20mins because the new girl working there made some kind of mistake and registered the phone before hand.
I was trying to make an online profile on the MetroPCS website, to find out that my number was already registered on there.
Now, this could either mean that they sold that phone and the person returned it right away (because my bill is due the 19th but my mom bought it the 20th) or that they had previously assigned my current number to someone else.
So what I did was, I requested the account username, which was sent to my phone. After, I was able to reset the password and even change the 2 security questions. BUT the billing address is someone else's and the security question for the billing address is also someone else. I don't even know the phone's pin.
I am wondering if it is possible to totally reset my phone, so that I can set up my own security questions/answers and make my own username on the website and use my own billing address.
