can only access the IR sensor with the LG SDK. i think it needs to be LG ROM.

Well it won't send ir codes no matter what so I think its going to be like the g2 no quick remote

They told me on xda that CM on G2 did get QRemote.

if that's true, it is a matter of the effort+knowledge.
