Root [MetroPCS] Mobile Hot Spot for Metro PCS LG Optimus F6

I have a LG Optimus F6 with metro pcs that i just recently rooted with Vroot. The main reason I wanted to do that was so I could use the mobile hot spot feature without having to pay the for it. Now the question how do i do it? Do I need an app to use it?

No, you need a carrier that allows it. The carrier decides - on their end, not on the phone end - whether to allow the signal through.

Follow his instructions. Worked for me. Now I'm on the $60 unlimited plan and I can tether to my PC's, Xbox and sons Wii.

mind explaining the instructions you did to tether to the xbox?

I just went to settings on the Xbox, set up network and connected to AndroidTether. It streams netfix fine but I just tried to download the hulu app and it kept giving me an error. I don't know what the difference is between the two but it will connect and stream fine. Haven't tried online gaming with it.

@@@Trevor. .. hey bro the issues are the dhcpd file in System bin folder... i went to the scripts. .. n it makes it hard cus its too many confgs. Im trying to do something that can patch that file.

Hooked up to neighbors wifi to download the app and then reconnected to my phone and I can confirm netflix and hulu stream flawlessly on Xbox through. Just kind of concerned they will catch on because 2 episodes later and Im at 786 mb downloaded.
