Root MetroPCS network unknown CM7.2

when I look under the settings menu in the about phone section the network is as unknown so I wanna know if I go down to the matro store to get this turn back on will they still be able to activate it and how do I fix this

It doesnt effect anything. Only reason its like that is because CM7 for the Ascend is for Metro and Cricket phones so they just made it say "unknown" but Yeah you can fix it. You have to flash the MetrOff file and it'll put a file called eri.txt I think (I did it like a year ago, its eri something) Just use root explorer to find it. Then just add MetroPCS inbetween the "" in the file.


eri.xml..... Its somewhere in the data folder I believe.
