Root [MetroPCS] Possible root workaround?

I'll admit, I'm no dev. However, do you think maybe we could flash the tmobile kdz and root the metro phone? It makes sense to me because they run the same network and tmobile phones can operate on our kdz. Just a thought, I can't test right now due to my CONSTANT pc issues.... I need a new laptop, unless someone can burn me a copy of Windows xp with sp2. I can't boot my dinosaur from usb.

hey my friend.. it won't hurt to try.. i hav a motion, i bought a F6... but haven't connect it yet.. wrking on root n editing the ini."".rc script to tweak phone.. im gonna try motoshoper first or the Ox4root from motion.. first. i wll keep u in the loop... and about XP.. Microsoft stopped supporting it about 2 months ago. :-(

i had to update all my computers.. in house because of that. i had 2 pc n 1 laptop with it.. and its a shame.. cus that one was the lites soft that they had dev.

It's the latest system my hp n5150 Will boot.
I can boot ubuntu 10.something from live CD but it's useless without drivers for my boards
