Help MetroPCS S3 updates?

I have a Galaxy S3 from MetroPCS, and I just realized I don't even have version 4.2 - I still have 4.1.2. Now I'm hearing about this 4.3 update, and apparently it started rolling out a week ago. Does Metro just never get any updates? I've tried pushing "check for updates" and it just tells me my phone is up to date.

Metro gets the updates from the manufacturers (each phone's update is a little different) and Metro has to add its own junk. Maybe they just aren't bothering any more.

Consider yourself lucky. The only thing I've been seeing about the 4.3 update is the bugs in it.

Just got mine today and ota from 4.1 to 4.3 worked.
