Root [MetroPCS] Simple WiFi Tether - CM11 Tested - No User Agent - Metro US

I seen someone asking about connecting to a ps4 or ps3, heres a way that i have used all though you wont get far with the slow i mean really slow internet you might be able to use netflix or what not. What you'll need is:
A rooted phone
A laptop
An ethernet cord
A console
A tethering app(cm's tether didnt like to stay open for me might be different for you)
And a vpn

Ok start off boot up your tether, connect to your laptop. now either find a free vpn or purchase one. But while you are searching you can add an s to the url (https) will allow you to bypass the metro/tmobile block page. Now after you have received your vpn info go to connections and setup a work connection and setup your info. After that you are gonna want to right click on the vpn and go down to properties and go to security and change "type of vpn" to pptp then you are going to want to go to "sharing" and check "allow other network computer internet connection" or something similar then go down to "home network connection" and change to local area connection and press okay it should prompt you saying disconnect and reconnect to save and go ahead and do so. After that plug your ethernet cord into console and laptop n startup your console. Open up your network and sharing center then press the "change adapter settings" from there you should see your wireless connection, and a local area connection, you want to bridge those connections (the network bridge might say network cable unplugged but should still work) Now go and try to connect. Everything is pretty slow especially on the ps4 took about a minute or so to load up the messaging page i was only getting about 1.6mbps approx and it is most certainly not steady. The ps3 is a little better but you wont be playing battlefield or gran turismo. Not all to good but it will update your games and what not. Good luck.
