Lurker
So, I guess something went wrong during partitioning. I tried a factory reset and honestly now my phone won't let me mount or even recognize the sd card. its stuck on checking for errors when I insert it and wont recognize it. I think I messed up my phone. Does anyone have any advice for me? Its a Metro Optimus F3 ms659. :-( Please help.

Get a card reader. Connect the card to your computer. Even if it can't read it, you can use Disk Management (Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management) to delete all partitions on the card, create a partition (or more than one, however you run your phone), then put the card back into the phone and format it.

Wow! Thanks for your help! I'm in computer management but not sure how to delete the partitons. it says there are 3 partitions but 2 of them are unallocated, 1 is fat32 primary healthy. Now what?
