Root [MetroPCS / TMOBILE] [ROM] U.S. KitKat MINI 4.4.2

I just installed this the other day for the Release of Pokemon: GO Thanks!!! works for the most part, but my GPS does not work at all! I'm completely reliant on my Wifi to guess where I am. Do you have any clue how I could remedy this?
Try restarting your phone or turning the gps on and off. It does work but the game is finicky with it sometimes (I have pokemon go as well)

Can you confirm it works without Wifi/Mobile assistance? I'm unable to have it work at without wifi, and I can tell its only wifi because my character will hop from house to house and never stray into the woods. Setting my location settings to GPS only would put me in the water. I've reset it, rebooted, I've tried using these GPS fix apps to repair it. On and off, on and off. Forever looking for GPS

Yea, I just downloaded the app and tried it from my house (Don't really wanna post it since it has the lat and long to where i live) but it took a second and it did pop up all the information. I was sure to turn off mobile and wifi.

Guess my phones GPS is damaged :( it's the metro d500 10i

Try doing a fresh install of the rom. Being sure to wipe everything but the micro sd (Where the rom should be). Maybe you forgot to wipe something or something got jerky on the install.

I gave it a shot last night, factory reset, wiped the cache, and formated it. Then did the install, maybe try hitting the advanced button and selecting every option but the microSD?

Just try to flash it again... But this time do a clean install (wipe everything= data, system, cache, internal storage)
I've done it about three times now lol... wiping everything but the Micro... no dice. GPS status has a Green Checkmark but it never finds a location.

I just dl this rom and applied it. Works and looks great! I scimmed thru this thread and noticed a few people asking about the DataOnSDhack. Not exactly sure what the answer is as to whether or not it works as intended. My experience so far is that it has changed the rom completely (i.e changed the system settings menu back to jellybean style, changed boot animation to my old boot, only has the andriod asop keyboard which is not working and deleted my play store app). It's almost like the installer is holding on to my old settings and features and changing the new rom. My process was:

- wipe everything except ext sd and flash minivoa,
- reboot phone,
- had to boot back into recovery and flash an updated version of supersu to get updated binary,
- i used the dataonsd_wipe_dalvik,
- and dataonsd_installer

i can go back into recovery and use dataonsd_uninstall and be back to the original set up like i just re applied the minivoa rom without actually re installing it. i gues you can say applying the dataonsdhack is like flashing a separate custom rom. I would be fine running the data hack as it is described because it's over the minivoa rom and those key features still exist but i cant get the playstore installed. right now i have it uninstalled and the mini running like normal. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. im used to having almost 15 gigs on internal :/

Do a nandroid and try instaling open gaps pico update. Before setting memory scripts. You are picking my old brain. I miss f6. Let me know how it works for you and don't forget to factory reset and let *t set 10 minits to build cashe on installs and first tme boots.

still a no go. but i was able to use the key board and type. im thinking i should scrub the sd card partition that is set for android and see if it tries anything wierd when i set the mem scripts again. at any rate, heres the log file from the gapps after an attempted install. Thanks for the reply.
