MetroPCS to get SGS3

As a metro 4g user with a decent phone ive come to a conclusion. Unless you dont go anywhere and are always on wifi metros 4g is totally worthless. I have a 2 gig 4g limit and i never hit it since the coverage is such trash. Im gonna switch to a big boy carrier one of these days but I cant afford it quite yet. Ive been thinking long and hard about this phone for verizon since my girl gets a 22 percent discount w them. If you have verizon and go over to metro you will soon find out how bad their coverage really is.

I live in Tampa FL and work in Oakland CA so obviously my travel time is out light. But between the two locations I have to say that my 4G is always good. Also, they have tested the Metro SG3 and got better up/down speeds then any other Metro 4G device. You have to remember that the connection and speeds will vary depending on the device being used. I believe the SG3 produced nearly 10MB down and 8MB up.

I live in the bay area and I download games, movies, and roms at over 500kb/s with metro. I take trips to vegas and az and have never had a problem with my connection.

I can't wait for the gs3.

i couldnt wait, jumped ship from metro and hopped on board to sprint. i read up on verizons section because my friends have the sgs3 on verizon.

now, the real question is, how dumb down will this be? because i doubt anyone wants to pay 550-600 bucks when you can start a plan, get the s3 for 120, kill the contract, and total cost would be 320-470 in the end.... then just flash to metro, from verizon (only to utilize 4g) because verizon is sporting a uic card (i believe)

It won't be dumbed down. It's the 16gb model and will have the same specs as othe us versions. From what I understand samsung don't want anybody to mess with its specs cause its their flagship model. The expected price is 520. Your idea sounds good but I'd rather have a metro branded one. Flashing always got it own problems somewhere.

Well, MetroPCS won't be MetroPCS much longer. Sprint/T-Mobile is scooping it up.
