Woah Since2008 theres two wifi signals from Metro. Thats weird yet interesting.

No. I think the second one is just a notification icon about the available update. Look closely, there's an exclamation point on the other one, which is telling me it must be a message requesting user attention.

Hey tiede can you help me on a wifi problem...
MetroPCS easyWifi turns on automatically and consumes memory after a while because it collects data and its been irritating me a lot.

And well I was wondering if you can help on what app can I install so I won't have to use metro's....

i dont know about using a different app, 1 would just use the built in wifi on the phone, either by removing the metro wifi, or by somehow taking it off defualt

You will need to root your phone and then use a program like Antek App Manager (root) to either uninstall or freeze Easy Wifi (I recommend freezing since you'll have it available should need to return to stock). From then on the phone should use the built in network manager.

On a side note does anyone know of an alternative wifi manager. I would like one that gives more details particularly when it fails to connect.
