Root [MetroPCS] Wifi takes a while to auto connect to router. Any fix?

My F6 has no problem with auto connecting to my home router. However at work it has a problem. I need to manually go into the wifi settings find the network and press connect.

Is there a way to fix this?
 
That's the way this phone is, there's no way to fix it unless lg gives us an update with a fix. LG did a terrible job with wifi on this phone. Hopefully we get the kitkat update with this fixed. Mine has had this issue since the day I bought it, but it doesn't happen all the time. When it does it just takes longer to connect, but I never have to do it manually.
