Help Mic on keyboard not working

The mic key on any keyboard I tried does not work.
Downloaded several keyboard apps.
Voice Recorder works.

Any ideas on how to solve.

I am not sure if it will help with the problem you are having, but Swiftkey is an excellent third party keyboard. Added bonus as of today it is free.
