Help MIC Problem in Moto G

Hi Dear,
Yesterday was my 12th day with Moto G. i was quite happy with this machine till yesterday. During phone call all of sudden Moto G's MIC stop working, i was talking clearly while ago but went wrong call drops and since that MIC is not working but i can call from hand free. i reset factory default nothing happen. i am middle of no where as no Moto G repair center in my country any tip / trick ???

Welcome to Android Forums.

If the microphone is not working after having successfully done a Factory Data Reset then it would appear to be a hardware problem. Contact your provider immediately so there is no question about how long you were using it before it failed.

After long search i found MIC for my Moto G ( as i previously mentioned here in Pakistan there is no official support of Motorola ) i went to local mobile repair shop and told him to replace the MIC with new, after fixing no luck again in old MIC the other party can hear noise but in this there is silent. then the local mobile technician advise me to root it,,

Any suggestion ??
 
On normal calls I can hear people on the other end but when I video call through Skype or Snapchat, I can't hear the receivers voice through my microphone. Can anyone resolve this issue. It will be of great help

I dint get you? I converted my normal Sim to micro Sim. But how is that related to me not hearing receivers voice on video chat?

When i chat with Motorola support agent for my MIC problem ( which is still in pending ) he mentioned that you have to use original Micro SIM rather then cut SIM or any adapter ( Refer to Motorola Moto G manual ) that's i asked from you.
 
Get the small needle and try to clean the dust clog on the small hole of the mic. It should be working back normally

Thanks for writing Yandi. I did all what I can did but nothing happen. it is still in my cupboard whenever I saw him I recall my 24k rupees.

Tried yandis fix. Although it sounded a little too simple it actually solved my problem. All callers used to complain about the sound quality from my end. Phone has been dropped a few times and dusty had completely clogged the mic. Thanks a lot yandi! Cheers.
