Michigan EVO round-up

Gah i have to be in AA at 10 am tomorrow for a closing messed up my plans to camp out at BB for one since i had a 2nd wave preorder. But i just got a appointment at 1 pm at Radio Shack in Ferndale no, so it should all work out.
 
Seems like 4 or 5 of use will be around, I just look forward to having a new phone, and practicing using an on screen key board. I might get lazy and just keep using the speech to text. I'll be curious to try out video chat, with some people.

I missed the pre-order, I didn't know they had a cut off date. No one bothered to tell me that when I called in and asked. :mad:

I'm going to try to hit up some stores in the A.M. and see what I can find!

Looking forward to getting an EVO, I'm still on the Samsung Instinct. Only reason I never upgraded is that my Instincts unlocked to to work as a modem for my laptop and it worked well so um, yeah...
 
Did RS force anyone else to buy an accessory in order to buy the phone? Even if you didn't pre-order. That doesn't seem right to me. I think I will return this crappy generic screen protector to another store.
 
About 10 AM. It took FOREVER to get it activated though because the computers were running slow/not at all.
 
If anybody still needs one in the G-rap area. Walmart in grandville had about 6 at 1pm today.

They do NOT do premiere line upgrades.
 
Will Walmart sell one with out activating it? I want to bring it to the store where i got my contract and get my service done.
 
I had no idea there were so many android'ers in the GR area! crazy! i live on the hill and am currently waiting for my iphone 3g contract to run up to upgrade. trying to figure out how to make it cheap enough to convince the wife to let me splurge the $200 on the phone. anyone got a revolving credit on the $10?

You should get a couple of bucks out of the iphone...

On another note, looks like july 11 for G-rap 4g
 
My Sprint store guy told me 4G in G-Rap for the test area about July and about October for release to Detroit. Congrats on our phones! :D
