My EVO V 4G is the plum with the Sprint logo, best buy exclusive. It came with an 8 gig class 4 sandisk.

Pretty decent for a class 4 I thought, could almost qualify for class 6.

My wife has an EVO V 4G that's black and has a Virgin logo, with a Kingston class 4 8 gig micro sd. Results

Ouch! The Kingston is way slower then the Sandisk. My suggestion is to anyone with a Kingston micro sd to do a crystal disk test on it and see if it's that bad. Especially those random IOPS (that's useful for those who store games on SD) Put together $10 and buy yourself a better micro sd card. I know I did for my wife.

If I were to go through the trouble of buying a micro sd upgrade instead of spending $10 go for the gold and get a 32 GB class 10 for $ 25 or so. That's what my G-Skill cost me a few months ago from NewEgg.

I'm just saying, $10 isn't hard to part with for a class 10 8 gig... if people or so strapped for cash. $25?? that's almost 1 month of phone service on virgin man ^_^

I bought the same card and I am really happy with it. The card I received was labelled "G-Skill" but was manufactured by Samsung. I ran a benchmark and the speed was right where it is supposed to be.

Things load to/from my SD card more quickly and the extra space is great.

The newegg description is:

G.Skill 32GB Micro SDHC Flash Card w/ SD Adapter Model FF-TSDG32GA-C10

SanDisk is known to make quality cards that outperform their class rating. I personally will only buy SanDisk sd cards because you never know what you are getting with other brands.

I wondered if the 64GB cards would work in our phones; which one did you get?

64 gb micro sd cards usually work 99% of the time in devices that accept 32 gb, it's when you get into UHS-1 that you might start seeing compatibility issues. I've used my brothers SanDisk 64 gb UHS - 1 on our phone without issues. Just wish I could afford one myself though. :-(

I got the SanDisk class 10. It's red and gray. What I did was I put it into the computer via a usb card reader and formatted it to far32. Works perfectly.
