Help micro sd card problem.

Hi all

i've had my wildfire in a couple of weeks now, and my sd card has been working all fine. but now suddently the phone says ''please insert an SD card'' as soon as i open the gallery, use my picsay pro app, take photos etc. despite the fact that I know it is in! what could be the problem!?

Hi, have you tried taking the sd card out and then putting it back in again just in case the connection slipped slightly ??

I bought a Xperia Neo V last month and faced the same probem. After 2 weeks I am getting this wierd problem:

When I open the gallery I get an error "SD card not found or unmounted" even though the SD card is present. The issue gets solved if I unmount and mount the SD card again, and after some time it re-occurs


I am trying to check whether there is any virus on system and also trying to get to the root of the issue...will keep you posted

Meanwhile if this was faced by anybody else, please help

Make sure you backup your stuff incase anything happens

Maybe some dust has settled where your SD card slot is
Have you cleaned the slot and the SD card? The golden squares should be shiny, not dull
Take out the SD card, reboot your device, then but it back in when its booted

Get back to me if its still acting up.
How often does it happen btw?
